Vacancies on the Library Advisory Board The City of Dickinson has an opening for two members on the Library Advisory Board. The Library Advisory Board is a City Council appointed board to assist the City of Dickinson with planning the policies and services of the Dickinson Public Library. The Library Advisory Board serves as a liaison between the community and the City Council to promote the Dickinson Public Library’s services and programs. Members of the board serve without pay. The Board meets monthly on the first Tuesday of each month at the Dickinson Public Library. The Dickinson City Council will consider appointment of the member at the August 9, 2010 Regular City Council Meeting. Interested citizens should submit the attached application to Carol McLemore, City Secretary, by July 31, 2010, to be considered for appointment.
