We have been talking with Charlie Weller at IESI regarding drop off recycling at their facility on Highway 6 and how we can enhance the program. They have encountered issues with non residents wanting to drop off not only recyclables, but also general trash. He is initiating a program to monitor those entering the facility with “trash” and recyclables and has asked for our assistance. Specifically, Charlie is looking for retired (and responsible) persons interested in part time work. They will be located at or near the entry gate and check driver licenses, water bills etc of persons entering to dispose of waste. Hours are very flexible, no benefits but will get someone out of the house and help with gas money! Most likely starting pay is $8.00 per hour.
